Charles O Hill
Founder
1914-2008
As the founder of Hill Tool Charles (Chuck) started the business in his garage at 60 years young after 35+ years with Moody Tool & Die in his hometown of Elgin,IL while farming on the family farm. His years of experience and his warm personality have helped the family carry on his values and commitment to the tool and die industry.
In 1976 Chuck bought a Charmilles D10 EDM and started Hill Tool in the back of his garage on the family farm. From that simple beginning and his expert tutolage, Hill Tool currently enjoys having 3 Wire EDM with 4 axis capability, Conventional EDM, Lathe, Surface and Jig Grinding, Jig Bore and Mill services to offer our customers.

As the owner of Hill Tool, Robert (Bob) Hill has enjoyed working in the manufacturing industry and has been the leader of making sure the exciting world of technology applies to the manufacturing processes at Hill Tool. Christopher Hill brings to Hill Tool his 10+ years of IT experience and a degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on Enterprise Software. Christopher is the lead on software evaluation and integration. With the recent purchase of a new Southwestern Industries ProtoTrak 2OP CNC Mill, Christopher is taking our time tested manual techniques into the 21st century.
